Not really very impressed with purchase. It's very expensive for what I actually received and then you also charge for the stand in addition, which I think is way over the top. It's plastic and you mass produce them for pennies on the dollar. Then there is the part about getting it on. It was very very very hard and parents need simplicity not more difficult things as we have far bigger things to complete during the weeks leading up to school.

Love the handling. Loved the protection. Loved the color and feel. Hate trying to fit the charger in its port. Need more room!
slim but protective

We have a Big Grip 3 and a slim. Our toddler has been using an iPad with one or the other for over a year. It cleans easily, does an amazing job protecting the iPad from drops plus makes it easier for her to hold. Makes each of us feel better about handling that slick iPad too.
We bought the slim for travel--it's smaller and fits in a backpack better than the 3. It worked well. The slim is harder to get the iPad into. We had to take the screen protector off (though that might be because it wasn't adhering well at the edges).
Overall, we have been so pleased with our Big Grip 3 that it wasn't a hard to decision to purchase the slim. Now we are keeping the slim on it.

I have previously been using a portfolio case for my ipad and decided to get something a bit more protective since my daughter is starting to use the ipad regularly. I found it super easy to get on, all the necessary buttons are exposed, it is much easier to use the camera and the wedge is a great addition for watching videos and skyping. On the flip side it does make your ipad about 1 1/2 larger all around and I do miss something to cover the screen when I put it in my bag. I plan on making a little bag for it to keep out dust etc when it is in my purse. Overall protection and increased ease of use out weigh any negatives.
Great for Kids!

I have a 1 year old and 4 year old who love our iPad. I did a lot of research and decided to go with this case! I don't stress at all letting our kids play with it now that the big gripz slim case is on it. Even though it is slimmer I still feel that our iPad is protected well. The charger is a bit hard to pull out but not impossible. Case is a tad difficult to get on as well. However, these are small prices to pay for great protection!
Same protection, smaller size

We have been using the full size Big Grips cases for our two iPads for many months. My first one doesn't even have the hole on the back for the camera, so I decided to get a slim one to replace it. I like the solid back piece for the iPad 2, which tends to run a little hot. I can attest to the protective power of these frames as I have a 4 year old who has dropped our iPads many times without incident. I would give 5 stars, but my husband's larger hands still have trouble reaching around to the volume button even though they are more exposed than on the full size case.
