I had an old iPad 1 and used a blue Big Grips stand and case for it. Being in the autism community, the iPad took its fair share of knocks but the iPad was never destroyed and never needed to be repaired. It never even was slow to come on. Some people used other cases that they thought were better and guess what????........yup, dead as a doornail. With this case, the iPad has literally been dropped (countless times) and even thrown against a wall at least once if not twice and I was certain that spelled doom for the iPad. It didn't. So, we just recently updated to an iPad air (we wanted more apps but the iPad 1 thanks to this case is still functioning and the kids can watch movies on it) and I knew just where to get the case. No questions asked. Now, this time we ordered red and the red is not a brilliant red. It is more of what I call mango but it is still red (just not vivid). VERY happy with it....as I knew I would be. We decided to use the same stand we had as the blue and red makes for "Dr Seuss colors" but I imagine we will eventually get the stand too. They do come in very handy.
